In the context of the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679/EU), known as ‘GDPR’, which came into force on 25 May 2018, we would like to inform you that the Conference entitled 'The Rules of Interpretation of Customary International Law’ which will take place in Athens, Greece on the 12-13 October 2023, will be video and audio recorded, while photos will be taken simultaneously. The video and audio recordings and the photos will be used by the organisers to promote the event to the media (e.g. press releases in newspapers, magazines and other media, including websites, social media, etc.). These publicity actions aim to inform the public on the event itself and to broadly disseminate its scientific results.

I, do hereby consent to the use by TRICI-Law of my image, video, voice, or all three of them, in the items described above. In addition, I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished audio/video recording.  I agree that all such pictures, video or audio recordings and any reproduction thereof shall remain the property of the author and that the TRICI-Law project may use it as it sees fit.

I can withdraw consent for this at any time. I can email trici-law@rug.nl if I change my mind.

Note: this will not apply to material already published. TRICI-Law cannot control already published material or recall them.
