I select only the readings the teacher/course guide says we must do
I read from the beginning and read until nothing goes in. Then I reread it next time.
I read from the beginning and read until nothing goes in. I don't go back to the text.
I look at the reading - if it looks too hard I don't do it.
I look at how long it is, its headings, diagrams, etc. Then I can start reading.
I read until the diagram, image interrupts and I struggle to refocus on the text again.
