Seeking Native American/Indigenous performers for many roles (actors, dancers, drummers) in the 84th season of The Lost Colony, which will debut brand-new theatrical staging, choreography and production elements for the largest outdoor symphonic drama in Manteo, North Carolina.

AUDITION DATE: March 15th
You will receive an audition time after you fill out this form. Auditions will occur in afternoon/evening.

PRODUCTION DATES:
Rehearsals: May 2 - 27, 2021
Performances: May 28 - August 21, 2021

SALARY RANGE: $222 - $400 / Week
Shared Housing Available for $25 - $35 / Week

I am interested in: (check all that apply)

PRINCIPLE ROLE: STORYTELLER (Older Indigenous female identifying actor) The elder who knows all the stories of the land and provides the connection with the present and the past.

PRINCIPLE ROLE: MANTEO (Young Indigenous male identifying actor) A Native American Croatoan, the chief of the tribe that befriends the colonists. Helps the colonists navigate their way through the New World.

PRINCIPLE ROLE: WANCHESE (Young Indigenous male identifying actor) The last known ruler of the Roanoke Native American tribe. Wanchese breaks from the colonists when they incite tribal violence.

HOOP DANCER: I will bring my own hoops

POW WOW DANCER: Fancy, Grass, Traditional, Jingle, etc.

DRUMMER/DRUM GROUP

PRODUCTION STAFF: Stage Management, Costume, Carpentry, Props, Audio departments
