City of Columbia - Housing and Community Development Needs Survey for FY 2021
Each year the City of Columbia receives federal funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) due to its population, demographics, and federal appropriations. The City estimates it will receive approximately $920,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and $620,000 in HOME funds in FY 2021. These funds primarily benefit low to moderate income households, and can be used for affordable housing, economic development, neighborhood revitalization and stabilization and community facilities.

This survey is designed to collect public opinion regarding the City's use of funding among program areas identified in its 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan. Survey responses help inform decisions on how the City will utilize CDBG and HOME funds.

This survey is voluntary, your answers will be kept confidential, and you may choose not to answer any question. Please do not take this survey again if you have already completed it. Thank you for providing your valuable input!
