The Wealth Reclamation Academy of Practitioners (WRAP) is a newer social justice formation that inspires Resource Mobilizers (formerly "fundraisers") to reimagine privately controlled wealth as a source of our collective power. WRAP is actively organizing a diverse cohort of social justice thinkers and practitioners, primarily operating in the social justice fundraising space, to recruit and activate communities across the country to our vision for a new Solidarity Philanthropy (see, Solidarity Philanthropy: Reparations, Democracy & Power blog post by Aaron Tanaka)

We seek to: (1) support the transformation of grassroots fundraisers into Resource Mobilizers, and (2) to recruit and prepare new Resource Mobilizers for movement-building. We plan to develop programming that includes peer mentoring, networking, experimentation, and content creation to promote visibility and to help institutionalize new practices and policies for resourcing social justice movement-building.
