Community Hub in Ball Hill

We are a group of local residents passionate about Ball Hill and its community. For us, community means a thriving environment for people of all ages. We want to live and work in a space where people are proud to be and have respect for each other; where people get together and know their neighbours; where we share and care for each other. We think a community meeting space is currently missing in Ball Hill.

With this survey we are trying to find out if other members of our community share our idea and would like to see a community hub* in Ball Hill. We would also like to find out what you would like to see included in such a hub. Your feedback will help us design our campaign and apply for funding.

A community hub (a building) is used to provide and host community activities that local people need. They are led and run by the community and are open and accessible to everyone.  The services provided in community hubs are very diverse and decided by the community. These include activities that directly address community needs and help community members live happy, healthy and thriving lives. They may also provide opportunities for community engagement and a focal point for people to meet.     -The Community
