The MAHEPA project consortium is organizing an online workshop on Safety and HMI considerations in hybrid-electric aviation on Thursday, November 4, 2021.

The MAHEPA project is developing modular and scalable hybrid-electric powertrains capable of running on alternative fuels or hydrogen with zero emissions, that are the key technology for future hybrid aircraft that will enable economical and environmentally sustainable air travel. Within MAHEPA not only new technologies are being developed, but also regulatory implications, airport infrastructure requirements, airspace procedural practices, operational safety, operating costs and emission models will be studied, resulting in a unique outlook for regulators, the aviation industry, operators and potential investors.
