These General Terms and Conditions are applicable to any Participant of LEF 2020 (“Participant“).
 
1. General
The Participant for the LEF 2020 must have reached 18 years of age latest by 24 September 2020.
The Participant agrees to follow and respect the house rules of Hotel Sheraton Parco dei Medici located in Rome in Via Salvatore Rebecchini, 145, 00148 Roma RM, Italia.
The LEF and LEPF 2020 organizing committee (“Orga-Team“) reserves the right to exclude individual Participants from parts of the LEF 2020 program or from the entire LEF 2020 if they behave violently or disrespectfully to other Participants, the Orga-Team, volunteers, hotel staff or any other guests, to the judgment of the the Orga-Team only.
The Participant will follow any instructions or orders given by the Orga-Team, volunteers or hotel staff. In the event that the Participant fails to follow these instructions resulting in loss or damage, including but not limited to damage caused to the hotel (building), materials, or other attendees, the Participant will be held liable for said loss or damage.
The Participant confirms that all statements made in the registration form are correct. Additional costs that might occur by providing false information in the registration are the responsibility of the Participant.
 
2. Liability
The Participant attends LEF 2020 at its own risk and responsibility. The Orga-Team, the hotel, hotel staff and the volunteers can under no circumstances be held liable for any damage caused by the Participant nor for theft and/or damage of belongings, or other damages. The Participant shall be held personally liable for any damage caused by the Participant, including but not limited to damage caused to the hotel (building), materials, or other attendees.
 
3. Registration
All deadlines and prices for LEF 2020 can be found on the LEF 2020 website and Facebook site www.facebook.com/LEF2020/. For any other questions the Orga-Team can be contacted at the e-mail address lef2020@leoclub.it.
 
Registration for the LEF 2020 can be completed:
        · Normal registration (from 20 July 2020 18.00 CEST till 1 September 2020 midnight CEST); and
        · Late registration (from 2 September 2020 00.01 CEST until 10 September 2020 midnight CEST)
        · Registration fees:
Triple room: EUR 305
Double/twin  room: EUR 325
Single room: EUR 450
Late registration: + EUR 30
 
Registration is deemed to be completed upon receipt of the participation fee on the LEF2020 bank account.
If the payment hasn’t been credited on the LEF2020’s bank account within 21 calendar days after having received the confirmation email, the registration will be withdrawn and the registration spot will become available to other applicants. It’s the Participant’s responsibility to pay the participation fee. The Orga-Team can under no circumstances be held liable for any costs or expenses.
All payments have to be made free of charge to the LEF2020 and by bank transfer to the official bank account of the LEF2020. Within two weeks of the receipt of the payment, the Orga-Team will send a confirmation of receipt to the Participant.
Limitations:
At the start of registration, every European* delegation has maximum 10 available spots (incl. ILO & DL) and for all other delegations there are maximum 10 available spots altogether.
 
4. Payment and Refund modes
Only bank transfer payments will be accepted. Refunds are granted via bank transfer for EU accounts only. For refunds on Extra-EU accounts, please double check possibilities with the Orga-Team directly.

4. Cancellation
Cancellation of LEF registration is possible up to 1 September 2020. In any case a fee of EUR 20,- administration costs will be applicable. The LEF2020 has a no-refund policy after the specified date. Requests for a refund after 1 September 2020 will be dealt with by the Orga-Team on a case-by-case basis. In all cases requests for a refund have to be made by email to lef2020@leoclub.it.
 
5. Additional Fees / Visa applications
We only issue an invitation letter after we have received the full payment for the registration, which is mandatory after registration. If a participant’s visa application is rejected, he or she will get a refund of his or her registration fee which was paid until then except for EUR 50,- incurred administration costs.
Requests for a refund after 1 September 2020 will be dealt with by the Foundation and/or the Orga Team on a case-by-case basis.
 
6. Zero-tolerance drug policy
The use of drugs, other than alcohol, is forbidden during LEF 2020. If an Orga-Team member or hotel employee suspects the use of drugs (other than alcohol) during the event, the Participant will immediately be excluded from the event and will need to leave the hotel without a warning. The Participant will not get any refund and will bear all additional costs and expenses him- or herself.
