Task Three: Jane is a blogger. She writes about her life and the house she shares with three friends in Los Angeles: Helen, Matt and David.
Read Jane's blog for this week.
I decided to get fit this week, but it didn’t go exactly according to plan!

I was sitting watching TV with David, Matt and Helen on Monday. An advert came on for a new gym that was opening in the city. You could get a free, one-week trial. I don’t usually get a lot of exercise, and I don’t like competitive sports, so I thought I’d try the gym.

I booked an appointment online and went to the gym on Tuesday after I finished work. The instructor started by checking my height, weighing me on some scales, and asking me about my overall health. There were lots of people in the gym and lots of equipment that I didn’t know how to use! There were running machines, rowing machines and cycling machines. Luckily, the instructor explained everything to me. He recommended that I do ten minutes on each machine.

I started by going on the exercise bike. I like cycling so it was quite easy. After that, I tried running on the treadmill. I’m not good at running at all, and I got tired very quickly, but the instructor motivated me and I kept going. I finished 10 minutes in the end, but it was really difficult! After that, I tried some of the weight machines. The instructor showed me how to use each one and he only used light weights on it.

After working out, I was very tired. I was too tired to walk, so I called a taxi and went home to bed. The next day when I woke up my arms, legs, back and chest were all aching, so I didn’t go back to the gym again.

I think I’ll need to try something a little easier next time!

Mark the sentences as true or false.
