GROVEDALE TENNIS CLUB ROOM/COURT AGREEMENT
The Clubrooms are available to be booked by persons over the age of 18.
This agreement only covers the hire of the clubrooms and the deck area.
The acrylic coated courts (5-8) can be hired from CoGG (Ph: 5272 5272)
The four synthetic grass courts are not available for casual hire, however, Social Memberships are available, which includes a fob enabling access to the court area outside of competition and coaching time.

THE DECK
Extends the length of courts 1 and 2, wrapping around to the east part of court 5. This area is undercover, making it perfect for those hot summer evenings.

**Due to Council restrictions the deck is only available until 9pm. If the deck is required past this time, the licence can be extended until midnight for a fee of $142. This must be requested 2 weeks before the function.
HIRE COSTS
Off Peak (Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Sun 8am-5pm)
$25.00 per hour
Peak (Mon-Thurs 6pm-11pm,Fri & Sat 6pm-12am, Sun 5pm-10pm)
$50.00 per hour
Bar Hire (per hr) $50
Bond* (per hire) $300
Cleaning (optional)^ $50
*Bond is required one week before the hire date. This is refunded once the hire is paid for, and the rooms are cleaned and found to be in acceptable condition.
^Cleaning can be done by the club, or the hirer. If the hirer is cleaning the rooms, they must be cleaned after the function.
The club has a vacuum cleaner, mops and other cleaning products available to use.
SMOKING
The club has a designated smoking area next to the small store room to the north of the main rooms. This is outside the licenced area of the club, so drinks cannot be taken here. For further information, please see the club Smoking Policy.
BAR HIRE
The Grovedale Tennis Club is a licenced venue. This means that alcohol is not permitted to be brought onto the premises and opened, even when the bar is not open.
All alcohol for consumption MUST come through the club bar. Alcoholic prizes, presents etc. are permitted, but must not be opened on site.
The Grovedale Tennis Club is accredited as a Level 3 Good Sports Club, and supports the responsible serving of alcohol. As part of this accreditation, the club does not serve straight spirits or shots, and other details can be found in our Alcohol Policy.
A list of drinks available in the bar is provided at the end of the document. If you have a special need outside of this, please note it at the bottom of the form, and we will endeavour to accommodate you.
Licenced Area:
An outline of the licenced area is on display behind the bar
The area outlined is the roofline of the building. Drinks are not permitted to be taken onto the courts, the retaining walls behind the courts, the smoking area, or the car park.
As per CoGG regulations, alcohol can’t be consumed on the deck or outside the main building after 9:30pm without a licence extension.
Non-Alcoholic Drinks:
These can be purchased as cans or bottles through our vending machine, you can bring your own, or we have a slushie machine ($50 for 10 Litres). Just let us know which option you prefer.
REQUIREMENTS FOR HIRE
Submission of completed copy of this hire request, including bar list, if appropriate
Any special requirements not listed in this document, at least one week before the hire date
Payment of bond and hire costs, in advance of the hire
A complete guest list at least 2 days prior to the hire date
ROOM HIRE AGREEMENT
CLEANING
The Grovedale Tennis Club is used by a variety of different users, at different times, and it needs to be in a fit state for the next user, therefore, need to be cleaned before you leave.
Responsibilities during your function
Bar Staff Clear away empty drink containers
Empty full internal bins into wheelie bins
Wash wine glasses
Hirer Clear away used cutlery & crockery
Wash and store all cutlery & crockery
Responsibilities after your function
All club equipment is stored
Kitchen benches are wiped down
Kitchen floor is washed
Carpet is vacuumed
Any obvious mess in toilets are cleaned
All internal bins are emptied into the external wheelie bins
Removal of any decorations
