AMSA UW Mock ER Registration Form Spring 2022 [WAITLIST]
Welcome to the AMSA UW Mock ER Registration Form! We are currently at capacity for this event and are only accepting waitlist requests.

Physicians and health professionals have written for us a robust collection of clinical cases that are broadly representative of real emergency medicine. During this event, you will be competing in teams of four to triage, diagnose, and treat these patients using a wide array of provided diagnostic tests and procedures. In each case, some diagnostic tools will add to the clinical picture, while others may be functionally useless or even misleading. While we'll be providing reference guides and helpful information, it's up to each team to collaborate, discuss, and research to find the correct diagnoses and treatments. No background experience or coursework is required for this event.

After the Mock ER, several doctors, medical students, and health professionals will walk through each presented case, the proper diagnostic procedures, and appropriate treatment.

By filling out this form, you commit to being present and active during the entirety of our Mock ER event on Saturday, May 14th, 2022 from 2-5 PM, which will occur in-person at the HUB 250. Due to the nature of the event, attendance is limited on a first come first served basis; the first 72 registrants will be guaranteed a spot in the event. If the event is already at capacity upon form submission, you will be placed on the waitlist in the event of an emergency cancellation or if we are able to expand our event capacity.

On Friday, May 13th from 8-9 PM, there’s a meet-the-team and event preview (you can familiarize yourself with the EMR system we have and practice with your team with a case). Attendance is required for this preview, which will be held virtually on Discord.

This event is free for all paid AMSA UW members. Priority registration for members ends on Sunday, April 10th at 11:59 PM PDT.

Registration to the public opens on Monday, April 11th and costs $8 per ticket for non-members. Once the registration period closes, we will Venmo request your provided username (or other form of payment if indicated) if we have space. You must fulfill the Venmo request within 24 hours upon requesting to reserve your spot. If we have reached capacity for this event, you will be placed on a waitlist and will only be Venmo requested if space opens up. Please note, this fee is non-refundable. In the event that you are unable to attend, please email us at amsauw@uw.edu ASAP so we can contact the next person on the waitlist.

General Registration for the Mock ER event closes on Monday, April 25th at 11:59 PM PDT.

You will have the option below to form your own team of two (you will be paired up with two other people) or four. ALL team members have to fill out their own form submission and list the other teammates. Otherwise, teams of four will be randomly assigned.
