We know that PK-12 students are passionate about our planet, and we're excited to provide you with a platform to express your feelings about climate change through poetry and song.
Join us in this competition to share your thoughts, feelings, and hopes for a more climate resilient future through creative expressions.
Eligibility:
- This competition is open to current PK-12 students in California who have a school teacher or staff sponsor. **All PK-12 teacher/staff member sponsors not only receive free registration to the AFS ECCLPs Symposium but also have the opportunity to virtually join during the school day on May 3, 2024, to have the student present their entry live, inspiring other California classes.
- Option 1: To participate, your school teacher or staff sponsor will support you by allowing you to present your poem virtually for up to 5 minutes and answer a few questions between 1:00-2:00 pm on May 3, 2024. We suggest that the sponsoring teacher or staff member be available during the 1:00-2:00 pm time slot.
