In this workshop, participants will make a multi-color print using monotype printing and cut stencils. This workshop will investigate the possibilities of the cut stencil in printmaking to create figurative and abstract forms. Participants will cull stencils that will then be laid out of a plate and printed. They will then remove parts of the stencil and print again, similar to a traditional reduction print but way quicker! Participants will also have the option to play with transparency and overlapping colors if they want. This workshop is open to everyone and is a fun way to get introduced to the possibilities of print!
