The University of Maryland's Department of Physics will be hosting a skill development and workshop series for incoming physics majors. Toolkit for Success: Immersion Experience for Incoming Physics Majors will run from July 1st to August 9th, 2024.
This is a small, competitive internship immersion program designed around 5 core themes: Academics, Careers, Community, Research Areas, and Research Skills. Activities take place on campus on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week of the program.
Toolkit for Success includes a stipend and is not a residential program.
Toolkit is an excellent opportunity to integrate into the department. Participants become part of the community and ready for the fall semester! If you want to excel as a physics major, this is the program for you!
Please submit your application no later than 11:59 pm on May 15th, 2024. No Applications will be accepted after this time. Notification of acceptance will go out on a rolling basis.
