Release of Liability
(PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)

I understand and accept the fact that skiing and snowboarding in its various forms is a hazardous sport that has many dangers and risks. I realize that injuries are a common and ordinary occurrence of this sport. I agree, as a condition of being allowed to use the area facility and premises, that I freely accept and voluntarily assume all risks of personal injury or death or property damage. I release the Chester Bowl Improvement Club and its agents, employees, directors, officers and shareholders from any and all liability for personal injury, death or property damage which results in any way from negligence, conditions on or about the premises and facilities, the operations of the ski area including, but not limited to grooming, snow making, ski lift operations, actions or omissions of employees or agents of the area, or my participation in skiing, snowboarding or other activities at the area, accepting for myself the full responsibility for any and all such damage or injury of any kind which may result.

I understand and accept the fact that by volunteering at Chester Bowl I will be exposed to hazards and dangers related to opening and closing preparations and procedures, regular operations, and special events such as: equipment lotteries, hill cleanups, equipment fittings, snowmaking, opening and closing preparations, concession stand shifts, alpine races, Freestyle Friday events, winter carnival, potlucks, and other Chester Bowl Improvement Club events and volunteer activities. I agree, as a condition of being allowed to use the area facility and premises, that I freely accept and voluntarily assume all risks of personal injury or death or property damage. I release the Chester Bowl Improvement Club and its agents, employees, directors, officers and shareholders from any and all liability for personal injury, death or property damage which results in any way from negligence, conditions on or about the premises and facilities, the operations of the ski area including, but not limited to grooming, snow making, ski lift operations, actions or omissions of employees or agents of the area, or my participation in skiing, snowboarding or other activities at the area, accepting for myself the full responsibility for any and all such damage or injury of any kind which may result.
As a further condition of being allowed to use the area facility and premises at Chester Bowl, I also agree to release and give up any and all claims and rights that I may now have against Chester Bowl. This releases all claims, including those of which I am not aware and those not mentioned in this release.
In accordance with Minnesota law, nothing in this Release of Liability should be construed as releasing, discharging or waiving any claims I may have for conduct that constitutes greater than ordinary negligence on the part of Chester Bowl.

No Workers’ Compensation Coverage
The undersigned herewith acknowledges that I am a volunteer and not an employee of this Chester Bowl and that any injuries occurring in connection with the activities associated with skiing/snowboarding are not covered by workers’ compensation. The undersigned acknowledges that use of Chester Bowl facilities, while not engaged in volunteer duties, is outside the scope of volunteer duties, and I release Chester Bowl from liability as set forth above.. The undersigned herewith releases Chester Bowl from any and all claims for workers' benefits of any kind relating to injuries at the premises while engaged in volunteer duties.
