Participants learning the fundamentals of chess will engage with online and text-based resources and be guided through a series of lessons that will help them develop a sound understanding of chess.

Participants extending their knowledge will study opening theories, end-game principles and tricks/traps to employ or avoid. Students will also be challenged with chess-based puzzles, explore chess tactics with opportunities to improve their Chess Ratings.

3:30-4:30pm: Suitable for both the beginner and advanced players

* Some students in Year One may be ready for the rigor of learning chess. This will be at the discretion of Mr Carter after a two week trial period.

This term we are able to offer two options for payment methods:
1) Direct debit payment due prior to October 14th; or
2) Credit card payment following our first session on October 14th.

Following this date, payment will revert to full fee of $90.00 per child.
