PLEASE NOTE: The application deadline for JewishColumbus overnight Jewish camp was February 1, 2023.
You are still welcome to submit your application for the
waitlist; although at this point, we cannot guarantee funding will be available
for your camper. We always make every effort to help as many campers as we can
and will be in contact in March 2023 with more information. Please email

Studies consistently demonstrate that children who attend Jewish overnight camp feel attached to their community and build life-long friendships.
To be considered for a JewishColumbus overnight camp scholarship for Summer 2023, please fill out the application below. This scholarship is only available for families living within the boundaries of JewishColumbus’ community campaign AND for campers attending an approved Jewish Overnight Summer Camp. Scholarship amounts will be determined based on numerous factors including financial need and length of camp session. Scholarship funds will be sent directly to camp.
-> The application window for Summer 2023 is
November 1, 2022 - February 1, 2023.
-> Notifications will be sent via email with scholarship amounts on or around
March 1, 2023.
-> Children who have applied for the One Happy Camper (OHC) grant are NOT eligible to apply for this scholarship. If your child is attending Jewish overnight camp for the first time, we strongly encourage you to apply at
www.onehappycamper.org for grants of up to $1,000. OHC grants are based on the length of the camp session.
-> Campers traveling to Israel as part of the camp experience must choose between applying for a camp scholarship OR utilizing JewishColumbus’ Israel Experience Grant if eligible.
Only one source of funding is possible.-> Campers must attend camp for a minimum of 12 days to be considered for a scholarship.
-> JewishColumbus encourages you to reach out to your synagogue and camp to inquire about additional scholarship opportunities.
-> If you change your plans for camp at any point after submitting your application, you must notify JewishColumbus of the change immediately and request your application be updated or canceled.
