LCHS 22-23 Schedule Input Survey_Family Version
As we look to next year, we are considering a schedule change for the high school. Currently, our 9th -12th grade students take 8 classes on a block schedule. They take the same 4 classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. They take another set of classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Classes are 90 minutes long. Here is what the current schedule looks like: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KtMICT0iBdsgON5gHKRYfN9DBG5wnQ6e/view.

We are thinking about moving to a 6 period schedule. Students would take the same 6 classes every day and classes would be roughly 70 minutes long. Here is a draft of that schedule: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zCdy3X3m4xrxmc5_Wtpx1MOiaYiUrBPA/view.

If you have a student who is a rising 9th through 12th grader, please talk to them about these different options, as well as weigh the pros and cons from your perspective as a caretaker. Then, respond to the questions below. Your feedback is important to us, and it will be considered as we make this decision.
