JMSS Parent Mentorship Program - Volunteers Needed!
An exciting new program is beginning at JMSS in the fall of 2022:

                                                              Parent Mentorship Program!

The purpose of the Parent Mentorship Program is to create a welcoming atmosphere here at JMSS, thus helping new families feel more connected to, and feel like a valued part of, their new school community.

ROLE OF THE PARENT MENTOR VOLUNTEER:
(1) Welcome new families to the JMSS community
(2) Contact families throughout the year, keeping them up to date with school activities/issues
(3) Be available to answer questions that may arise.

This will be accomplished through the use of STANDARDIZED EMAILS that the Parent Mentor Volunteers send out according to a set schedule, thus minimizing the time commitment on the part of the mentors.
