To assist the development of the "Protect" project’s Toolkit, the partner organisations must deliver a series of three training events. The first event will take place online due to the current pandemic, and it will be coordinated by C.I.P. Citizens In Power and supported by Fundacja Cooperacja. The two coordinating partners will ensure that the following topics will be included in the activities of the event, in order to address the impact that they have on both the Young People and getting them to consider the wider community:
i.
Exclusion
ii.
Violence
iii.
Community Cohesion
iv.
Territorial conflicts between YP
v.
Drug use
vi.
Anti-Social Behaviour
The Protect Project is dealing with issues such as child sexual exploitation but that the training in particular is focusing on related community issues that make young people vulnerable to exploitation in various forms.
We are looking for minimum of 25 participants (under the age of 30) from 5 different countries; Cyprus, France, Poland, Turkey and the UK; 5 participants each minimum. The participants in this event must be Youth Workers, volunteers or practitioners working with Young People, and they will be selected after they demonstrate how they utilise the knowledge required as part of the training.
During the event, the host partner (C.I.P. Citizens In Power) and the contributing partner (Fundacja Cooperacja) will monitor the participants, holding reflection sessions to understand how the training was meeting their learning needs and the thoughts on the training process. In return, the participants will complete reports and questionnaires. Additionally, some will undertake to follow up sessions to examine the project's value, learning results, and impact on their training and youth provision.
The duration of the event is 5 days, from 7 to 11 of June, 10.00 - 15.00 CET, and it will be entirely online.
