Cultivating Mindfulness within Families:  The Power of Presence, Amidst a Pandemic
As the world faces the COVID-19 pandemic, people of all generations are suffering... seniors (who are considered more vulnerable to the virus), children and teens (who may be learning remotely and feeling isolated at a time when they need their peers most), and those in between (many of whom are working from home and supporting everyone’s needs, leaving little bandwidth to tend to their own). While we cannot necessarily change our current circumstances, we can change our relationship to them. This is where the transformative power of presence lies. Join us as we share evidence-based strategies for cultivating mindfulness and self-compassion, both of which bolster our mental wellbeing. We will end with resources to continue to practice these skills, as well as a brief Q&A.
