Don't let the name fool you; Fostering Christmas is working with social workers all year long to cover the needs of foster kids in the Treasure Valley and beyond. Below you'll find a list of requests we've been asked if we can provide. If you'd like to contribute, here's how:

* Look over the list below and select the wish(es) you'd like to cover
* If you would rather contribute funds towards the purchase of one of these wishes rather than outright purchasing something, feel free to navigate to our donations page on our website. You can send an email to info@fosteringchristmas.org and we'll earmark your donation for a specific item.

* Click "Next" and provide your contact information. We will use your preferred method of contact to reach out for a status update if needed.

* If you've signed up to help with a need, please have the item(s) ready for pick up/drop off within 3-5 business days.

* You may ship items or drop them off personally at our office in the Newsletter Pro building:

* We will have staff in the building M-F from 9:00a - 3:00p. If you arrive after hours, we do have a package drop off bin next to the door.
* If you are ordering online, please forward your order confirmation/tracking to info@fosteringchristmas.org so we can keep an eye out for it.

Books! | We are hosting a book drive through the month of June. We are accepting donations (the publishing company is matching 50% of all donations) or physical books if you'd rather order them directly.

Food/Grocery gift cards | Many teenagers are not able to be placed in a foster home right now due to the foster parent shortage, and are staying in state-funded AirBnB's at the moment. Social workers have asked for gift cards to have on hand so these kids can go out to eat with their friends, or buy groceries they would be excited to eat.

Gas Cards

Entertainment vouchers | Many teenagers are not able to be placed in a foster home right now due to the foster parent shortage, and are staying in state-funded AirBnB's at the moment. Social workers have asked for ways to help keep them entertained while they're there. Things like puzzles, board games, video games are great! Vouchers to WaHooz, JumpTime, Escape Rooms, Movie gift cards, etc are also great so they can get out of the house.
