Please come prepared with 60-90 seconds of a classic musical theater song. There will also be a short dance audition in small groups.

Please sign up for a vocal audition using the sign up link and plan on staying for up to 1 hour for your dance audition.

Please email your headshot and resume if you have them to 4communitytheatre@gmail.com and make sure they are titled with your first and last name.

In order to better ensure the safety and wellbeing of our participants, 4 Community Theatre requires a background check for all cast, crew, staff and board members over the age of 18.

All participants must read and sign and return the following forms before participating in a 4CT production:

3. Background Check Forms

Due to the high-transmission rate of variants and the increasing case numbers of COVID-19 in the state of Minnesota, 4CT has updated our COVID-19 Safety Procedures to better reflect the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC and Minnesota Department of Health. As of August 17, 2021, 4CT requires proof of vaccination from every member of our cast, crew, volunteers, directors, and production teams in order to take part in our productions. Being fully vaccinated means that you have received the final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and any available boosters at least 14 days before providing your proof of vaccination. We are requiring a physical card be presented to stage management in order to prove vaccination.

Arpad Laszlo (Age 16 to early 20s) Delivery boy at Maraczek's Parfumerie. His exuberance is infectious and commitment to his job remarkable. He is ambitious and adorable. Vocal range Bb2-E4

Ladislav Sipos (Age 45 to 50s) Not the brightest employee at Maraczek's Parfumerie. A confidant to Georg, he is an optimistic family man who looks like a huggable father. Vocal range A2-E4

Ilona Ritter (Age mid 20s to 30s) Employed at Maraczek's Parfumerie. She is sexy and learned in the ways of romance, but longing for something more from the game of love. Vocal range F#3 to E5

Steven Kodaly (Age mid 20s to 30s) A well respected and liked employee at Maraczek's Parfumerie. Though he is considered dapper and occasionally charming, he is more of a shallow womanizer. Vocal range B2-A4

Georg Nowack (Age mid 20s to 30s) An established employee of Maraczek's Parfumerie, he resembles a hopeless romantic. Shy, intelligent, and soft spoken. Vocal range B2-F4

Mr. Maraczek (Age Mid 50s to 60s) Owner of Maraczek's Parfumerie. With a commanding presence, his dedication to the trade is rivaled only by his faithfulness to his wife. Vocal range B2- C4

Amalia Balash (Age 20s to 30s) The eager new employee at Maraczek's Parfumerie. Despite being a skilled saleswoman, she easily becomes intimated and nervous. Attractive, bright, and a lover of literature. Vocal range C4 to B5

Head Waiter: An eccentric and uptight waiter insistent on creating a romantic atmosphere Vocal range: Tenor

Busboy: Clumsy at his job he makes the waiter's life a nightmare.

Women #1, #2 and #3 (Age 18+) Main custumers, will be featured throughout the show

I have listed all of my known conflicts and am available to rehearse Monday-Friday Nights and weekends when scheduled.
