Open House Registration

The Margaret MacMillan Trinity One program provides first-year students with the opportunity to explore major issues and ideas pertaining to human life and world affairs, while in a small-group environment conducive to deep discussion and interaction between faculty and students.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE:
  • First-year students are admitted to one of the six streams based on a supplementary application.
  • Each stream consists of two full-year courses (2.0 FCE) and are both taken in the first year.
  • The seminar courses have limited enrollment to ensure small class sizes.
  • They foster small-group discussion and emphasize the development of critical-thinking, oral-presentation, writing and research skills.
The program is divided into 6 interdisciplinary streams: biomedical health, medicine and global health, environment and sustainability, international relations, policy, philosophy & economics, and ethics, society & law.

This virtual open house event will take place through Zoom and allow participants to meet program assistants and stream mentors. We will explain the program in depth from the application process to the benefits of joining the program. At Trinity One, we focus on building a welcoming academic community which provides first-year students the chance to engage in interdisciplinary topics and current issues.

We are excited to get to know you and answer any questions you may have! We will email you the Zoom link for the meeting 2 days before the Virtual Open House on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 3:00-4:30pm EDT.

We need you to provide the email and the name you will be using for the Zoom meeting. We invite you to complete the rest of the form so we can tailor our discussion to people's individual interests.
