The Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary (YWS) encourages the participation of volunteers who support our mission: Providing life long sanctuary to non-releasable Great Yellowstone Ecosystem wildlife while sharing a message of education and conservation.
All volunteers, except youth volunteers, must be 18 years or older. Youth volunteers must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian in order to volunteer at YWS. We do not allow volunteers under the age of 15 without a parent or legal guardian present.

Gardens: Assist with planing, weeding, watering, sweeping, mowing, and general yard care & maintenance of the YWS grounds.

Once your application is submitted, it is reviewed by the YWS team and you will be contacted to set up an initial orientation. You will be asked to sign a Volunteer Release Waiver during your first volunteer visit. If you have other questions, please call us at 406.446.1133
