Here's a little bit about the areas to contribute in Equippers Kids...
Check-in/Check-out:
Time commitment: 9:40 am to 10:15 am (check-in) & 11:30 am to 12 pm (check-out)
Duties:
1.) Check children into our computer/ipad system software, print labels for the child and parent and direct the families to their child's classroom.
2.) Release children to their parents by matching the "receipt" to the child.
Snacks:
Time commitment: Arrive at 9:40 am with snacks
Duties: Your duties will be bringing items from the list above for 20 children (2/3 for ages 5 yrs and up; and 1/3 for preschool age 2-4yrs). Snacks can include:
-Fresh Fruit (Cuties, apple slices, etc.)
-Vegetables (celery, carrots, etc.)
-Cheese
*Please no grapes as they are a choking hazard for the pre-school age
Set up/Tear Down:
Time commitment: 8:30 am to 9 am (set-up) & 11:45 am to 12:15 pm (tear down)
Duties:
1.) Help set up for kids church. Must be able to lift 15 lbs. Morning snacks/treats will be provided for set up crew. We know it's early!
2.) Directly after service, your duties will include helping tear down and pack away the kids church set up. Must be able to lift 15 lbs. Special snacks for tear down crew will be provided at dessert table/snack bar.
Security:
Time commitment: 9:45 am to 10:30 am & 11:45 am to 12 pm
Duties:
1.) Lock classroom doors at appointed time.
2.) Walk families over to their kids' classroom if they arrive after service has started.
3.) When church is ending, notify teachers and team leader that things are wrapping up.
4.) Join the check out person during check out process at MPR and be a presence to deter conflict and make sure protocols are followed.
5.) Retrieve parents if needed
Helper
Time commitment: 9:45 am to 11:30 am
Duties:
1.) Help the teacher run the classroom activities and lesson for the day.
2.) 18 yrs and over require a background check and livescan paid for and provided by Equippers
3.) Ideal for young adults and teenagers who want to pour into the next generation.
Teacher
2 Teachers are assigned to each room - so they share the following duties:
1.) Teach and run the classroom for the duration of the service
2.) Adult over 18 yrs
3.) Background check and livescan required. Paid for and provided by Equippers
4.) Ideal for those with teaching experience who love the Word of God and have a passion to see kinds on fire for Jesus.
