The Media Cognition and Learning Research Group at the Department of Communication and Internet Studies of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), in collaboration with the non-profit organization Media What and the Cyprus International Institute for Environmental and Public Health, also at CUT, are excited to announce a new workshop series titled "Digital Journalism Against Misinformation".

The aim of the workshop series is to support journalists and journalism & communication studies students in Cyprus, by providing them with relevant digital tools, knowledge and skills to address challenges that concern health and the environment, especially in the context of misinformation. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in workshops that will support them in engaging in mobile journalism, social media reporting, live blogging and fact-checking.
