SEED Institute: Befriending Difficulties With Mindful Self-Compassion
Everyone faces difficulties and suffering at some points in life, especially so during the global pandemic period where uncertainty of the future brings distress. Most often than not, we may show greater kindness and compassion to others but yet being critical of ourselves when we face difficulties in life.
In this introductory session, learn and appreciate how treating ourselves with kindness with compassion can be an act of courage that leads to greater happiness, resilience and wellbeing. We will learn and experience two self-compassion techniques that we can immediately apply in our daily lives when we face emotional distress.
