A limited number of need-based financial assistance scholarships are available for teachers who intend to participate in training courses at the 2023-2024 Atlanta Suzuki Institute/Atlanta Suzuki Workshop.
At minimum, participants will be responsible for a non-refundable registration fee (summer training classes only) and a $100 tuition deposit (refundable until May 1 if applicant is unable to attend ASI). The maximum scholarship amount for an individual will be the equivalent of the remainder of the course fee following the tuition deposit. Partial scholarships may also be awarded. Housing, dining, and parking fees will not be covered by scholarship funds.
Deadline for Application Submission: April 8, 2024 at 11:59 PM. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
A completed application consists of the following:
1. This scholarship application form
2. Registration for a 2023-2024 Atlanta Suzuki Workshop or 2024 Atlanta Suzuki Institute teacher training course.
3. Payment of 50% of the non-refundable registration fee (summer training courses only).
Applicants must be members of the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA), and successfully completed the SAA's audition requirements and and course prerequisites.
Notification of scholarship decisions will be made by April 22, 2024.
Newly submitted scholarship applications may be considered after April 22, 2024 if funding allows.
