Go the Distance
On September 17th, we will be hosting a "Go the Distance" event. Picture a Walk-A-Thon but for any physical activity you choose to participate in. Examples include: running, walking, swimming, biking, spinning, climbing, strength, rowing, spinning, triathlons, or anything else you can think of! From 7am - 5pm on that day, we want to see how far you can go in your event. We will have a kick-off in the morning at Robious Landing Park and a support tent throughout the day, but you can participate from any location! In case of unpredictable weather, we have a rain date of September 18th.
So how are we raising money? When you participate in "Go the Distance," you can invite friends, family, and others to make pledges based on how long you can endure for. For example, if your friend pledges to donate $5 for every mile you run, and you run 20 miles, they donate $100. You can participate as an individual or join forces with friends to join you and participate as a team!
