21-22 LDC LOCAL CONVENTION x AUDITION
Please read thoroughly before completing.

You do NOT need to be auditioning in order to take classes however you MUST take the class you want to audition for. Classes that double as an audition are marked with a **.

This is the opportunity to take class from different creatives in the area. We are offering discount rates for the more classes you take! The best way to broaden your dance experience is to take classes from others when the opportunities arise. Networking in this industry is important PLUS an incredible way to continue to build unity in the community.

CLASSES & AUDITION DATE: August 29th
TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (1 hour Lunch Break)
PLACE: WAREHOUSE THEATRE at the Academy Center of the Arts in Downtown Lynchburg
AGES: These classes are Intermediate-Advanced, Advanced, Professional level classes. All music is age appropriate.

8:45 a.m. Check-in
9:00-10:00 a.m. MUSICAL THEATER with MIKAYLA (Lynchburg Elite Dance)
10:00-11:00 DANCE TEAM (Jazz, Hip Hop, Pom, Performance) with KAYLEIGH (Liberty Flamettes)
11:00-12:00 CONTEMPORARY with KYLA (Kyla Hull Gift of Dance Scholarship)**

12:00-12:45 LUNCH BREAK (Please plan accordingly. We have access to a refrigerator and microwave if needed)
12:45-1:00 DANCERS RETURN FOR WARM-UP

1:00-2:00 JAZZFUNK with JULI assisted by HILLARY WHITLOW (Seven Hills Dance Studio)
2:00-3:00 TAP with MICHELLE (Lynchburg Tap Project, Forest Dance Academy)**
3:00-4:00 STREET JAZZ with SHANIA LEE (Lynchburg Dance Connection, Averett University)**
4:00-4:50 Hip Hop Production with AC (Lynchburg Dance Connection)**
4:50-5:00 CLOSING

RATES:
$25 for 1 class
$90 for 4 classes ($10 off)
$150 for all 7 classes  ($25 off)

COLLEGE DISCOUNT:
$20 per class

FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN AUDITIONING FOR LDC, PLEASE REVIEW THE SCHEDULE BELOW.
(The Kyla Hull Gift of Dance Scholarship and Lynchburg Tap Project rehearsals differ from LDC's below. You will be contacted separately about those initial rehearsals and we will run routines as part of our rehearsals at a later date.)

Auditionees for LDC will receive an e-mail the following week and will have the opportunity to accept or decline their position in routines.

LDC aims to schedule around Studio, Crew, Team, and Company rehearsals. In the event there is a conflict that arises at a later date with your studio, crew, team, or company, we at LDC will not penalize for missed rehearsal due to your obligation.

Rehearsal Dates for LDC:
Location & Times are TBA but please plan to be available from 1:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. on Sunday rehearsals. You may not be needed for the entire time.

Rehearsals may be shortened or cancelled pending completion and cleanliness of routines.

Dancers will be allowed 2 excused absences. Any dancer that misses more than 1 rehearsal will be at risk for spot changed or exchanged with an alternate at the choreographer's discretion.
