Better Together: A Celebration of Belonging
Thanks for your interest in helping your student create a display for our event! Students are invited to share aspects of their identities across multiple dimensions of diversity. JeffCo Schools names these as race, class, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ability, and language. Students can either put together a display board (supplies provided) or compile a video to share their story. If you did one last year, you are welcome to bring your same board back again this year. If you haven't participated before, this is a fun way for kids to explore and learn about their own identity and teach others.
