Description: ...and other reasons why punctuation, grammar, and word choice are important. If you struggle with the nitty gritty of English class–the parts of speech, subject complements, where to put the commas, etc.–then I’m here to help. We will take a look at how words function in a sentence, as well as practice such important writing skills as crafting topic sentences, incorporating and citing text support, and organizing main ideas. We’ll make sure to keep it fun by reading some great examples and playing plenty of games.
