There is no single, exemplary answer to the question: what competencies a modern business leader should have. However, attention should be paid to the fact that managers are constantly faced with new tasks related to meeting expectations in the conditions of constant changes. A strong leadership base is therefore the basic condition for the development of the company. An effective response to the challenges of modern enterprises requires greater interpersonal skills, gathering committed people and a transparent value system. In such conditions, the demand for finding more accurate predictors of professional success and life achievements other than traditional skills also increases. Based on these assumptions, some researchers have indicated that a new set of skills will be required by business leaders (Bernstein, 2014).
