Participants must be 18 years old or older to participate in all Tournament competitions except Boffer Sword, which will allow competitors 14 years and older.

Required
*You will be required to provide all your own gear and horse, including transport, feeding, and care.  Stables are included for participants in mounted games.  In addition, these events will require in-person qualifications, including but not limited to try-outs or demonstrations of proficiency with horses, equipment, arms, and/or armor ahead of competition days.  Expect to be at the Tournament location at least 1 day prior to Tournament.  Details to follow. 
**Personal gear may be required to pass inspection prior to use on the Tournament range.  Limitations and requirements for bows (type, draw, etc.) and arrow configurations (type, tips, etc.) will be provided separately.  Rental archery gear may be available on a limited basis but cannot be guaranteed.

In order to participate in the Tournament, you will be required to complete the following by Friday, June 9th (individual deadlines may be earlier):
  • Submit this Application
  • Sign an Agreement including a Media Release and a Waiver and Release of Liability
  • Pay a fee according to the events into which you are entered
  • Respond to any requests for qualifications beyond what you provide here
  • Submit to any required inspection of your gear and/or horse as applicable to your assigned contests
  • Arrive on time and prepared for any pre-tournament meetings, qualifiers, or other events required before any contest to which you are entered
  • Arrive on time and prepared for all Tournament events in which you are entered
Insurance
It is your sole responsibility to provide any necessary insurance to protect yourself and your property.  The Tournament and its organizers and affiliates will not provide any type of insurance on your behalf. 
Equipment
With few exceptions, you are responsible for providing all necessary supplies and equipment to participate in the Tournament, including but not limited to a horse, all necessary tack, food, and gear for the horse, safety equipment including any necessary armor, which must meet Tournament requirements, and any weapons or other gear which you or the Tournament organizers or judges feel is necessary to conform to the intended event specifications and the safety of all participants, staff, and observers.  If you are unable to meet the equipment requirements for a given competition, you may be required to forfeit your position in that event. 
Code of Conduct
All participants in the Tournament are expected to uphold this Code of Conduct.
  • Demonstrate good manners, courtesy and consideration to others.  As a competitor, you are a representative of the Tournament.
  • Comply with the rules and abide by the judge's decisions.
  • Be respectful of your own and others' animals, using due care and caution when in their presence.
  • Respect the property of others, whether personal or public. 
  • Maintain control over your animal (if applicable) and belongings at all times. 
  • All competitions involve dangerous equipment, regardless of material, sharpness, or weight.  Treat equipment with due respect and caution so as not to endanger yourself or others.
  • Sporting events such as these can create intense emotions.  Control yourself and do not endanger those around you.  Competitions are dangerous and those who lose control pose an unacceptable risk.
  • Do not consume any alcohol or other intoxicating or psychoactive substances prior to your participation in any event.  If you are clearly inebriated or mentally compromised, you will forfeit that particular event and be given a warning. 
  • Come to each competition with at least the minimum protective and other equipment required.
