In times like these, it's more important than ever to maintain a sense of togetherness while staying distant. The way we communicate with people is important. Text, FaceTime, and calling are great tools to keep in touch, but I always feel like I'm communicating with a screen rather than a human being.

Do you ever miss sending letters to people? Receiving letters in the mail is such a rewarding feeling! Writing and exchanging letters via mail is an intimate form of communication, as you dedicate time and effort into getting and staying in touch with people.

Through this program, you provide your name, address, and social/contact info (if you want to keep in touch in the 21st century as well) and I will pair you with a pen-pal, someone from anywhere around the globe! They could be someone who you might find has similar interests as you or someone with a completely different worldview. Either way, you have the opportunity to connect with someone you may have never met otherwise!

Once you submit, I will contact you shortly with your pen-pal match and their address. From there, it's up to you to write and send a letter to your pen-pal. It can be a simple "Hello, I am ____ from ____ and I like hot dogs" or you can get into some serious philosophical debates. It's totally up to you and your pen-pal!
