Thank you for your interest in our puppies. In order to make the best matches between puppies and people, I need to ask about your home and family and what you’re looking for in a puppy.  There are no right or wrong answers, so please be honest and complete with your answers so that I can understand if our puppies will suit your needs.  Please note: we match our puppies based on the temperament and traits of the puppy and the needs of a potential buyer.

Guarantees. All puppies are sold as pets; we don’t guarantee specific outcomes regarding health, temperament, working ability, or type (conformation). While we do everything possible to raise puppies full of potential, and to place them into well-matched homes, that potential can be lost without proper socialization, care, training, etc. It’s up to each buyer to put in the time and effort to help their puppy blossom into the dog he was meant to be. Going Home. Puppies are wormed regularly, receive their first shots, and are microchipped before going home at about 9 weeks of age.  Buyers will pick up their puppies in person and are responsible for all transportation costs. Please be on time for your pickup appointment and allow two hours to go over paperwork, meet your puppy, and take pictures. :)  Make sure that you schedule your puppy’s wellness exam within 72 hours of pickup.  We do not warrant against acute and treatable issues, such as those on this partial list, including low blood sugar, kennel cough, coccidia, giardiasis, ear mites or infections of the inner ear, ear position, worms, hernias, fleas, ticks, etc.  At the same time, all puppies will receive a clean bill of health from our licensed veterinarian before they go home.  Puppies will need to be titered through CAVIDS after going home; this is really simple and we guide our owners through it.

Payment. We don’t work with deposits, but will invoice buyers for the full amount, due before pickup. A started puppy, juvenile, or an adult dog may have a higher purchase price that reflects higher food, equipment, training, and care costs on our end, so feel to ask if you are unsure.

Key Points of our program:
  • Puppies must come back to us if their owners cannot keep them.
  • Spay/neuter before 26 months of age nullifies our 6-year health warranty.
  • Routine vaccination voids the puppy’s health warranty; instead, we vaccinate according to CAVIDS titers.
  • The puppy’s permanent registration name must begin with “Rosewyn” or “Rosewyn’s”.
  • Owners agree to apply for full OTSCA registration, at their expense, once puppy is 12 months old.
