Overview

The GMV Excellence in Management Award recognises outstanding commitment and overall excellence in management that has resulted in a club and or the golf industry benefitting by the consistent high level performance of an individual working within the golf industry. Though a timeline of service is not stipulated and whilst not a life time award, nominations should be for employees of some years standing within the industry.

The award recipient could be a general manager, an assistant manager, club accountant, administration manager, house manager or such similar management position of a club. The recipient is not necessarily a member of GMV.
Within golf clubs in Victoria there are such individuals who consistently perform at an outstanding level and this award is designed to recognise their excellence.
