The 4th of May is a special day: It will be the 6th anniversary of Isabel's total surrender to the Blues, which happened during an event with this exact same name, organised by Delft Blues (at the time Abi & Dáire) & our dear friend Tobie. That day was the spark that started our Blues journey, and we hope to bring you a taste of what it feels to be submerged in it!

16:00h – 17:30h . Foundations - absolute beginners:
This workshop will give you some basics to start your journey through the Blues dance world! By the end of it you will be able to dance in partnership, do some fun moves and enjoy social dancing! Hopefully you will be leaving with a little spark inside you asking for more. This workshop is suited for everyone that has never danced Blues, including dancers with experience in other dances & styles. If you haven't danced Blues in a while, taking a foundations class helps getting it all back :)
18:00h – 19:30h . Piedmont Blues – all levels: * SOLD OUT *
In this workshop we will be dancing to Piedmont Blues music, a style of Blues characteristic from the of Southeast of the USA. It is recognised by the fingerpicking of the guitar, and we love it! We will go through the basic steps & skills to get everyone dancing to this fast & light hearted Blues style!
21:00 - 01:00 Party time! - by registering for at least one of the workshops gives you free access to the party.
The workshops are suited for dancers of all levels, and everyone will be learning both dance roles (leading & following).
