The Office of Conference & Event Management hires a staff of students to work full-time during the summer months to support our busy summer calendar of camps, conferences, and programs. We seek students with keen attention to detail and the ability to perform complex administrative, financial, and managerial duties. We work with a wide variety of clients, outside vendors, Fairfield students, faculty, and staff. We're accepting nominations for students in the classes of 2025, 2024, and 2023 for Summer Conference Assistants!
When the academic year comes to a close, Fairfield University opens its residence halls and facilities to many different types of groups including Fairfield students, visiting students from other universities, incoming freshmen during orientation, and a wide variety of camps and conferences. We host groups of up to about 600 attendees and can accommodate guests for one night or several weeks/months. The Office of Conference & Event Management hires a team of Summer Conference Assistants who live on campus and work full-time during the summer months to support our office and busy summer event schedule.
