Welcome to the Writing Center!

The Writing Center staff at LIU Post believes that learning to write is a life-long pursuit and that all writers benefit from attentive and attuned feedback on works-in-progress.

We work to help all writers develop a sense of agency, along with the linguistic tools needed to accomplish their writing goals, by listening carefully to writers, giving their ideas attention and respect, and tailoring our approaches to support diverse learning styles, goals, and contexts.

Our Hours for the Fall 2023 Semester:

Monday & Tuesday: 10 AM - 6 PM (In-person and Zoom/Email), 6 PM - 7 PM (Zoom/Email Only)

Wednesday & Thursday: 10 AM - 6 PM (In-person and Zoom/Email)

Friday: 10AM - 4 PM (In-person and Zoom/Email)

Our Community Contract:
