The National 48 Hour Film Challenge
The 48 Film Festival (aka. The 48) is a brand new initiative, a Canada-wide short film festival that aims to discover, cultivate and celebrate rising Canadian talent in film, music, aural and visual design, and the performing arts. For one weekend, participants will write, shoot, direct, score, edit and produce a short film in 48 hours.

All films that register will be screened locally in each participating province and territory, then the top 2 films in each province and territory will finale at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto in March 2022.

The territorial National 48 Hour Film Challenge will take place from June 11th to June 13th, 2021, starting at 5 pm. A public screening will take place in the weeks following the competition weekend.

All participants must have a valid WAMP membership and Safe Sets™️ COVID-19 (Level A) Certificate FREE (quick links for both will be sent in the registration confirmation email).

Registration fee: $50 per team - payment can be processed at the link below.
