Summer Honors Band Sign-Up 2022
Do you wish we played MOVIE MUSIC, POP MUSIC, or "RADIO SONGS" in band this year? Come play that kind of music in the Summer Honors Band!

This is a one week program providing an opportunity to have fun playing different types of music in a mixed-level environment. With the assistance of both professional music staff and a select group of high school music mentors, you will rehearse in full ensemble and smaller group settings. The Summer Honors Band will be run by Ms. Jenna DiMento, GMS Band Director.

WHERE: July 25-28th at the WAKEFIELD HIGH SCHOOL - Music Wing (enter through the main entrance and turn right immediately - you will be in the music wing). July 29th will be at the GALVIN MIDDLE SCHOOL.

When:
July 25th - 29th from 8:00am - 11:30am
Concert for family and friends will be Friday, July 29th at 11am at the Galvin Middle School auditorium.

All band students who were in 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade during the 2021-2022 school year may join! Yes, incoming 9th graders may join!

Payment: $150 per student; Checks must be made out to "Wakefield Public Schools" (includes tuition, camp t-shirt and any additional materials)
