This upcoming school holidays Youth Matters will be running two holiday activities for our youth who attend Connect and Drop In!
KARLOO POOL BUSHWALK
When: Wednesday 28th September, 11am-2pm
Who: Year 6+
Where: Drop-off and pick-up at Heathcote Train Station (opposite the Fire Station)
What to bring: Suitable walking clothes and shoes, lunch, snacks, water (at least 1L) and swimmers
Details:
- You (Parent/Guardian) are responsible for the drop off and pick up of your child. If your child is getting dropped off/ picked up by another parent please indicate in the form below and/or email the Youth Minister; James at
ymadmin@salesians.org.au- The day will be supervised by the Youth Matters team and other volunteer leaders
- There is the opportunity for swimming at the pools, but as the pools have no drainage it is NOT recommended to wear sunscreen as it can wash off and harm the wildlife in the pools. The hike is quite sheltered so a hat and shirt provides reasonable protection, but each family can approach their child's sun safety individually.
BOWLING DAY
When: Friday 7th October, 11am-1pm
Who: Year 6+
Where: Zone Bowling Sylvania
Cost: $25. However, if cost is a barrier to anyone being able to attend please contact James at
