The Century PTSA is dedicated to supporting Century’s parents, teachers and students. Membership fees are our sole means of generating revenue – which we use to provide services to our school community.

During the 2020 school year & these pandemic times, we have shifted our focus to providing virtual & online activities such as: teacher / staff appreciation, newsletter communications to families, virtual Chat with the Principal, fundraising initiatives (i.e. Hy-Vee receipt collections) & soliciting donations for the SOS room to help children in need.

In 2021 - while we will begin the school year with virtual PTSA & Chat with the Principal meetings, we're hopeful to begin volunteering, staff appreciation and other in-person activities with the PTSA soon.

The PTSA plans programs for students and parents, sponsors a cookie drive and appreciation week for Century staff, organizes a “Mock Crash” for Juniors / Seniors every-other year and sponsors students in the National PTA Reflections contest. We were instrumental in starting the Century Panther Press online newsletter where we keep students and parents updated throughout the year.

“Chat with the Principal” monthly meetings are organized by the PTSA and allow us to continue to improve and provide two-way communication with the Principal & Century Admins. Virtual Meetings are available still for the 2021-22 school year.

Membership Costs Only $10.00 per Member - Due By October 31, 2021

Each Membership Fee covers our $6.25 dues to State / National PTAs & the rest helps with covering appreciation costs for our teachers & student enrichments.

Donations above the $10.00 membership fee are always welcome & appreciated.
