Barnstormers Youth Show Auditions 2019: GODSPELL JR.
We are super excited to be starting a new (and FREE) theater program for Delaware County kids and teens. This summer we are doing Godspell Jr, the hit musical written by Stephen Schwartz (Below a synopsis of play and character). Our age range for the program is 10-17. We rehearse on Tuesday and Thursday Nights with the addition to Saturday mornings. The show will run on August 2nd, 3rd and 4th..  We are super excited to begin this new journey, and we hope you join us!  

DESCRIPTION:
A group of disciples help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, are employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.

TERMS OF PARTICIPATION  
Please read before agreeing below.

1.This program cannot be used as a daycare facility. Children involved should understand their commitment to performing in a full length musical. We ask that they come ready to learn and participate.

2. Children will be given a conflict sheet, they must, along with a parent or guardian fill the conflict sheet out to the best of their ability and return to a staff member.  If a child has 2 or more unexcused absences, they will risk being pulled from musical numbers, if the absences continue the child may be asked to leave the program.

3. The staff of Barnstormers Theater Youth program are not liable for any injury that happens on theater property, our staff will properly assess the situation and respond to the best of their ability. A staff member will call the parent or guardian on the emergency contact list, if an emergency is to happen.

AUDITIONS : JUNE 3RD! 7PM!
Auditions are on June 3rd at 7:00pm. Please come prepared to learn a song from the show and perform in front of the staff. If we would like to consider you for a speaking/lead vocal role we will invite you back on June 4th for our call backs.

Rehearsals will begin on June 6th!
