Growing Places Indy is a non-profit organization working to cultivate individual, family, and community wellness through urban agriculture, access to fresh local food, and communities of belonging. Our vision is for thriving communities, sustainable futures for urban and farm land ecology, a burgeoning local food economy and a vibrant and diverse food culture in Indianapolis - all supported by a strong local food and farm network. 

We believe that individual experience and personal relationships are vital to the pursuit of our mission and vision. We seek to cultivate networks of connection by engaging individuals in opportunities for first-hand experiences in urban agriculture, in relationships with local farmers and local food, in experiential learning and in practices for living well and in solidarity. These are simple yet profound ways to empower a culture of wellbeing in Indianapolis.

Educational tours and group volunteer opportunities are important ways we cultivate community and further our vision.
