Help kids celebrate one of the biggest events of the year in high school by becoming a JP Party Animal this prom season! Prom Season Team is responsible for working some crazy hours delivering, setting up and tearing down our attractions to help make after proms amazing and memorable.

Hours and Availability: Prom Season Team Member is a temporary position that begins in February with training and continues through March and April executing the prom events. This position could turn into a seasonal role by staying on with our staff for our main season that runs through fall. Main working hours for this position are Friday through Sunday weekly as proms take place Friday and Saturday nights. Shifts will be open ended beginning in the morning or afternoon and continuing through the overnight events.

Compensation: Base pay for this position is $15.00/hour with incentives and bonus’, paychecks weekly.

Job Duties: will include but not be limited to the following items below:

Note: Prior Experience on all job duties is preferred but not required. JP Party Rentals will be able to offer training on all skills needed to accomplish the following job duties.

Logistics: JP Party Rentals uses a variety of vehicles (2500 series trucks equipped with 16’-24’ trailers, SUV / Van equipped with single axle trailers, and box trucks) to deliver our attractions. Employee must be able to:

Safely and confidently operate the vehicle and trailer including driving on all types of roads, hooking up and unhooking trailers and reversing into tight spots if needed.
Safely and confidently operate the box trucks including driving on all types of roads, maneuver into specific locations or tight spots as needed and backing into a loading dock

Manual Labor: Delivery team members will be working hard while at JP Party Rentals. Our attractions can be very heavy and cumbersome to move at times, so employees will need to be willing and able to lift, carry or move a minimum of 60-100lbs. Employees must:
- Have knowledge of how to use manual and automatic hand trucks / dollies to safely and efficiently move attractions around event sites as well as load/unload trailers and trucks.
- Fold, roll and move inflatable items
- Complete set-up and tear downs on event sites efficiently and safely within the parameters of company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
- Team members will be responsible for communicating with customers about set up and tear down times on the day and communicating our safety requirements and event expectations. Keys to JP Party customer service are communication, great attitudes, respect and kindness.
- Use provided technology to complete forms, safety walk throughs, accept payments, sign contracts and document event set up safety procedures
- Provide excellent communication to customers to keep them updated and in the know on event details as needed
- Equip customers with the proper knowledge they need to confidently host their event and provide as much assistance as needed within our policies and procedures.

Customer Service: JP Party brings the party! Providing stress free entertainment requires excellent customer service. Our delivery team members will be responsible for communicating with customers about delivery logistics, our safety requirements and event expectations.
