Neuroqueer Group Coaching Application - Check Back in 2024!
Thank you for your interest in Intentions Therapy's group offering. Currently, enrollment is on hold.
This virtual support group is for Neurodivergent queer, non-binary, trans and gender expansive adults.

This Support Group will provide a stable, safe and emotionally nurturing virtual group setting for a small cohort of individuals who share identity and life experience. We will explore radical visibility, unmasking and embodying our truth, living outside of the gender binary and healing our relationship to self and others. This support group highlights the importance of gathering in community, in a time of increased isolation, to find belonging and realize we are not alone.

Currently enrollment is on hold. Subscribe to my newsletter at intentionstherapy.com or follow me on social @intentionstherapy for updates on when applications open for this group!

Please fill out this application and I will be in touch soon-Dani Sullivan, LCSW

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and it can take up to a week for me to respond to your application. Thank you for your patience and direct any questions to dani.intentionstherapy@gmail.com

Sliding Scale Information

This Neuro-Queer group is offered at a sliding scale. The group meets weekly for 10 weeks, group members are charged weekly. Each Healing Group Cohort will have a maximum of 8 individuals, and sliding scale spots are limited. Please read the information below.

I recognize that privilege, class, and ability are complex and intersectional. This sliding scale relies upon honesty, accountability, and respect for the multiple realities of economic access and privilege that exist in our communities. I understand that financial resources, including income, are not the only determining factor in someone's access to services and therapeutic care, and I explain the structure of my sliding scale below.

  • The pay-it-forward price is $100/week. This price is slightly above the actual cost of the group and supports the financial accessibility of this group for folks lower down on the scale. This also contributes to my ability to build future free and low-cost resources, classes, and groups.
  • The actual price of this group is $90/week and if you choose a price below this, you are receiving a discount.
  • The middle price is $70/week. This price is for those who are able to meet their basic needs but have little to no expendable income. Paying for this group offering in full may be a sacrifice but would not create hardship. (Limited spots available at this price)
  • The bottom price is $40/week. This price is for those who struggle to meet their basic needs and paying for this group offering would be a significant hardship. (Limited spots available at this price)

This sliding scale group offering is built on trust, honesty, and with community care in mind. It ensures educators and care workers, like me, get paid fairly and can sustain their work. When I am compensated fairly, I can continue to invest in building free and low cost classes, writing, and service offerings.

This conceptualization of Sliding Scale as a Tool for Economic Justice comes from Alexis J. Cunningfolk of Worts and Cunning Apothecary. To read more, visit http://www.wortsandcunning.com/blog/sliding-scale
