AUDITION INFORMATION

No previous choral experience is required.  Auditioning singers will receive a link to an online tutorial video. Auditions Don’t Have to be Scary, so they’ll know exactly what to expect!

  • Singers must have unchanged voices and be between the ages of 10 and 14 on September 1, 2024 in order to audition.
  • Membership into this treble choir program is contingent upon one audition and two teacher recommendations (Please share this Recommendation form link  with two teachers who know the student best:   https://forms.gle/A8p7pErBpeUCJ9EV9), or teachers can find the same link at www.ysofh.com.  Teachers can include classroom teachers, music teachers, and coaches). 
  • There is a $10 audition fee required to complete audition registration. 

Rehearsals are held weekly at Flint Hall (in the Falany Center for Performing Arts on the Reinhardt University Campus, Waleska, GA) on Thursday evenings, 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm from August through April.

Acceptance into The Young Singers of Flint Hall will be based, in part, on teacher assessment of the student’s suitability for this experience.
